My Rt hon. Friend, the Minister for Women and Equalities, has not had specific discussions with cabinet colleagues on the scale of bullying of disabled people.</p><p> </p><p>The Government does not tolerate bullying in any form and any sector of our society.</p><p> </p><p>Under the Equality Act 2010, ‘unwanted or prohibited conduct’ related to a protected characteristic (including disability) that violates an individual’s dignity or creates an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive environment for them, is unlawful. Bullying behaviour may also, in some circumstances, be proscribed by the victimisation provisions of the Act.</p><p> </p><p>The Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) record the number of calls they receive about harassment and victimisation of disabled people. Where an employer is found to have breached equal pay law, an employment tribunal can order them to produce an equal pay audit. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/11/2017 answer text <p>The Government Equalities Office does not monitor the relative incidence of discrimination against people with different disabilities and health conditions.</p><p> </p><p>The Equality Act 2010 provides protection from disability discrimination to all those who meet its definition of disability: ‘a physical or mental impairment which has a substantial and long-term adverse effect on a person’s ability to carry out normal day-to-day activities’.</p><p> </p><p>It does not, except in a few specific instances, list conditions that fall within this definition.
