answer text <p>A public consultation will be published soon with a view to making regulations in the first half of 2016. Building on the series of well-attended stakeholder events last year, in this Parliament we have already consulted business, civil society and trade unions as part of continuing engagement around the gender pay reporting. We will be engaging other interested parties before the regulations are prepared.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Regulations requiring an employment tribunal to order an equal pay audit where an employer is found to be in breach of equal pay law came into force on 1<sup>st</sup> October 2014. We are not so far aware of any cases where an audit has been ordered.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Government's Women and the Economy action plan sets out a clear programme of work to maximise women's contribution to economic growth and address the gender pay gap. I have oversight of this, as well as being the minister responsible for key elements of it, such as extending flexible working, introducing shared parental leave, and increasing the number of women on company boards. I regularly meet with ministerial colleagues and others to discuss these issues, and the Ministers for Women gave a joint presentation to Cabinet in April on these issues.</p> more like this
