Insurers make an assessment of risk based on the likelihood of the individual making a claim and the potential cost of that claim.</p><p> </p><p>However, the Government remains concerned about the impact on motor insurance premiums from the continuing high number and cost of whiplash claims. The Government is determined that everyone who is entitled to the NMW receives it.</p><p> </p><p>All HMRC vacancies for NMW staff are advertised through civil service jobs and recruited in line with the civil service resourcing policy. HMRC makes full use of the budget allocation it receives from BEIS for current and future NMW recruitment.
