answer text <p>The free trade agreement with the EU is the first the EU has ever reached based on zero tariffs and zero quotas, supporting families and businesses in every part of the UK.</p><p> </p><p>Labour market data since January 2020 has been affected significantly by the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and does not provide an indication of the effect of leaving the EU on unemployment or average earnings.</p><p>According to the latest Office for National Statistics nominal average weekly earnings stood at £586 in October 21. answer text <p>HM Treasury does not routinely monitor the shareholdings of private-sector firms, and has not made an estimate of the amount of shares held by the TCI hedge fund in NatWest Group (previously the Royal Bank of Scotland). I am also not aware of any HM Treasury assessments of TCI interactions with ABN Amro or the subsequent takeover by RBS.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The latest available data from the Bank of England (published 14 June 2022) shows that the proportion of total mortgage loan balances with arrears in Q1 2022 was 0.82%, the lowest level since recording began in 2007. This is consistent with falling arrears levels over the previous 12 months.</p><p> </p><p>The Government works closely with the regulators to monitor the resilience of mortgage borrowers and continues its efforts to support those in financial difficulty.</p><p> </p><p>The Government offers Support for Mortgage Interest (SMI) loans to homeowners in receipt of an income-related benefit and protection in the courts under the Mortgage Pre-Action Protocol to help prevent repossession. This makes it clear that repossession must always be the last resort for lenders. Any borrowers worried about their mortgage payments should make early contact with their lender to discuss the forbearance options available to them.</p> more like this
