answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/06/2019 answer text <p>The Government is committed to developing an inclusive transport system which disabled people can use easily, comfortably and without additional cost, and it is essential that taxi and private hire vehicle services play their part in making this happen.</p><p> </p><p>In 2017, the Government commenced legislation to prevent wheelchair users from being refused carriage or charged extra. Though the number of hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles on UK roads is still in the early hundreds, we have seen some exciting developments with the technology.</p><p> </p><p>The Mayor of London recently announced the first fleet of hydrogen double decker buses in the world and a number of companies are also developing hydrogen fuelled trains which may one day run up and down our network.
