The survey will be undertaken by a jointly appointed Independent Chartered Building Surveyor at the nominated undertaker’s cost. This approach was adopted on HS1, Crossrail and Thames Tideway and is a common and recognised practice. See Information Papers C3 &amp; C14 Section 7.
