<p>In June 2018, Network Rail published their document “East Coast Main Line Route
Study – Railway Investment Choices” which identifies the capacity constraints on each
section of the East Coast Main Line. Network Rail is undertaking a detailed capacity
assessment of the Church Fenton to Newcastle section of the route which is due to
