Since April, Departments have reviewed the planning assumptions and developed new assumptions based on the most recent information from Member States and in light of the extension to 31 October 2019. These assumptions are focused on a reasonable worst case scenario, rather than what we expect to happen, and have already been shared with key partners to support revision of contingency plans, where appropriate, for a potential no deal scenario on 31 October. These planning assumptions remain under review throughout the planning process. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 09/09/2019 answer text <p>As Minister responsible for shipping matters on behalf of the Secretary of State for Transport, I am aware that my officials in the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) have developed an impact assessment on its proposals for older domestic passenger ships which is updated from time to time as new information is received, and is progressing through the normal government scrutiny process.</p><p> </p><p>A draft of the impact assessment (IA) was published during a public consultation which ran from 6 November 2018 to 29 January 2019. Consultees were invited to comment on the validity of the analysis in the IA and encouraged to provide information that would help to strengthen this. A further consultation focussing on the policy and legislation was carried out between 29 May and 10 July 2019. No specific discussion took place between the Department and regional tourism bodies, but the consultation was open to comments from them. The IA was amended to take account of any relevant comments received. The needs of all public transport users must be taken into account when considering how to manage the different public transport networks. Changes at one station or location may benefit passengers there but may be a disadvantage to passengers further along the route.</p><p> </p><p>The Department is currently in the process of building the Bus Open Data Digital Service which will serve as a platform for bus operators to provide their route, timetable, location, and fares data.
