answer text <p>The Fresh Start Agreement reaffirmed the commitment made by the UK Government in the 2014 Stormont House Agreement to provide up to £500 million over 10 years of new capital funding to support shared and integrated education. This funding is subject to individual projects being agreed between the Northern Ireland Executive and the UK Government. A total of 23 integrated schools and five shared campus capital projects are currently being supported by the package.</p><p> </p><p>The Government continues to work with Northern Ireland Departments on funding arrangements and projects under the Agreement. Funding allocations are subject to HM Treasury approval and Northern Ireland Office officials also continue to engage with HM Treasury on delivering the Northern Ireland Budget for 2023-24 as set out in the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland’s Written Ministerial Statement on 27 April.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The UK Government welcomes the UN Special Rapporteurs’ ongoing interest in Northern Ireland legacy issues, and acknowledges the importance and value of their mission and objectives.</p><p> </p><p>While we respectfully disagree with some of the Special Rapporteurs’ assessments regarding the legacy proposals outlined in the Command Paper published in July, we continue to engage with the Special Rapporteurs through established channels.</p><p> </p><p>The Government is committed to dealing with legacy issues in a way that supports information recovery and reconciliation, complies with international human rights obligations, and responds to the needs of individual victims and survivors, as well as society as a whole.</p><p> </p><p>The Government welcomes comments as it continues to engage in its proposals, and will reflect carefully on what we have heard as we consider our next steps.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>Since the Stormont House and Fresh Start Agreements in 2014 and 2015 respectively, much good work has been achieved and multiple legislative commitments have been fulfilled.</p><p> </p><p>The main outstanding legislative commitments in the Stormont House and Fresh Start Agreements concern parading and legacy. The UK Government has been consistently clear that responsibility for parades and related protests should, in principle, be devolved to the Northern Ireland Assembly, and that should alternative, workable, locally agreed arrangements be forthcoming, it would look to bring forward legislation to devolve this matter.</p><p> </p><p>The Government has been clear that it will bring forward legislation to address the legacy of the Troubles in a way that focuses on reconciliation, delivers for victims, and ends the cycle of investigations. We are committed to making progress on this as quickly as possible.</p> more like this
