These are secure sites administered by a specially authorised 'Customs Site Operator' or CSO. CSOs are required to obtain AEO(S) or equivalent authorisation from HMRC, an international gold standard for safety and security, and remain subject to robust ongoing oversight from HMRC. Freeports uphold the UK's high standards on security and preventing illicit activity.</p><p> </p>

The proportion of Private Rented Sector households has remained relatively stable for nearly a decade; the PRS was 19% of households in 2013-14 and continues to be at 19% according to the latest data for 2021-22.  The repeal of Section 21 which is a manifesto commitment will give security of tenure to millions of tenants, empowering them to challenge poor practice and unfair rent increases. We will bring forward legislation as soon as parliamentary time allows.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Ensuring a fair deal for renters remains a priority for this Government, and we will legislate in this Parliament to abolish Section 21 'no fault' evictions'.</p><p>Under our new reforms, we will take a proportionate approach to the period of notice that a landlord must give when using grounds for possession. Tenants must be given sufficient time to find appropriate alternative housing when their landlord requires possession of a property. These changes will sit alongside comprehensive, fair and efficient grounds to ensure landlords have confidence they can regain possession to their properties when it is reasonable.</p> more like this

answer text <p>NHS England employees are not subject to any requirements to resign due to parliamentary candidacy. <br> <br> Health is devolved in Scotland and Wales – restrictions relating to parliamentary candidacy on employees of NHS Scotland and NHS Wales are a matter for the Scottish and Welsh governments. <br> <br> A number of specified local authority positions are designated as ‘politically restricted’. Holders of such posts are required to resign before announcing their candidacy for Parliament. Individual local authorities have the flexibility to designate additional positions as ‘politically restricted’. Furthermore, they may also choose to include restrictions relating to parliamentary candidacy in their employment contracts with any of their employees. <br> <br> Civil Servants are disqualified from holding the office of MP. Parliamentary candidates must confirm they are not disqualified from holding the office when completing their consent to nomination form, and therefore cannot be employed in the Civil Service at this point. Furthermore, Civil Servants who are categorised as belonging to politically restricted or politically intermediate groups must resign before being adopted as a prospective candidate by a political party.</p>
