<p>We have been in regular communication with the Family Mediation Council throughout the Covid-19 response and welcome the chance to work closely with the sector during this time. We know that now is a particularly difficult time for families, as relationships are placed under intense pressures, and we are committed to championing mediation as a suitable option for many of these families. My officials are currently reviewing the proposals in detail and will be in touch with the Family Mediation Council to discuss further shortly.</p>
