A small number of Chief Executives have taken early retirement or are due to do so over the next few weeks. There have also been a number of departures at Assistant Chief Officer (ACO) level. These were part of the normal turnover of staff; details of these are not held centrally.</del></p><p><ins class="ministerial">HM Prison Bronzefield is a private (contracted out) prison and therefore any activities in the establishment are the decision of the Director of that prison. The production of the performance of Sister Act was arranged between Sodexo Justice Services and the respective parties. When a key/lock incident is reported an immediate investigation is undertaken to assess the risk and unless it is clear that security has not been compromised, then locking mechanisms and keys will be replaced and/or other necessary remedial action will be taken.</p><p> </p><p>A range of procedural and physical measures are used to assist in the secure management of keys in prisons. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 18/11/2014 answer text <p>There were a total of 70 adult prisons which had one or more directly employed Muslim chaplain on 30 June 2014, representing 65% of all adult establishments. 14 establishments in the youth secure estate had one or more directly employed Muslim Chaplain on 30 June 2014, representing 93% of the establishments. This information includes both public and private sector establishments.</p><p> </p><p>Access to Muslim Chaplains is more widespread than it appears from these figures. There are <del class="ministerial">393 imams employed across the prison estate, and the majority of establishments have access to Muslim Chaplains even if they don’t have a directly employed Muslim Chaplain attached to the establishment.</del><ins class="ministerial">100 imams employed across the prison estate and additionally over 100 Muslim Chaplains appointed on a sessional basis. All prisons have multi faith chaplaincy teams to provide and enable religious and pastoral care. These teams invariably include at least one Muslim Chaplain to provide for the religious needs of the Muslim prisoners. There are however one or two prisons where it has not yet been possible to appoint a Muslim Chaplain and the Muslim Adviser is working to appoint these. Fewer young people have entered the criminal justice system, and as a result fewer young people have ended up in custody. This has allowed excess capacity in the youth secure estate to be decommissioned.</p><p> </p><p>The Table below shows the (a) capacity and (b) population of each Secure Children's Home, Secure Training Centre and under-18 Young Offender Institution at the end of February in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 and at the end of January in 2014 (this is the latest available published data for 2014). This relates to either the last Friday of the month in question, or the first Friday of the following month, depending on which is closest to final day of the month. Data for the end of February therefore offers the closest available published data to 1 March.</p><p> </p><p>The “capacity” figure relates to the number of beds available, allowing for any “out of commission” beds due to for example, damage to rooms or contractual changes.</p><p> </p><p>This information comes from the Youth Justice Board's Secure Accommodation Clearing House System (SACHS) database and eAsset database. The January 2014 database is provisional. In mid December 2013, the bidders who passed the first stage of the competition to win the regional rehabilitation contracts were announced. The list includes a mix of private and voluntary sector partnerships with more than 50 organisations represented – from charities experienced in tackling a range of issues affecting offenders, to small and large British businesses and experienced multinationals. All of these Tier one bidders have experience in working with offenders or across the wider Criminal Justice System. Approximately one third of the bidders included a potential mutual organisation within their consortium. Additionally, for similar commercial reasons it is not general practice to release information on those organisations which have withdrawn from the competition.</p><p> </p><p>As requested by the Authority, all bidders updated their CPA preferences on 22<sup>nd</sup> January. The current lot preferences are an initial indication of the bidders for each region.
