The total number of individuals convicted and sentence outcomes for offences under the Animal Welfare Act 2006, can be obtained by selecting the following HO codes: 10829, 10830, 10831, 10832, 10833, 10834, 10835, 10836, 10837, 10838, 10839, 09701, 09702, 09703, 09704, 09705.</p><p>However, whether the offence was committed by a pet owner against their pet is not held centrally in the Court Proceedings Database. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 31/01/2024 answer text <p>Sentencing guidelines are developed by the independent Sentencing Council for England and Wales, as required by statute.</p><p>As an independent body, the Sentencing Council decides on its own priorities and work plan for producing and reviewing guidelines. Therefore, the Government cannot require the Council to review particular guidelines. We are working with the judiciary to introduce an entitlement in the Victims’ Code for Victim Personal Statements in the Mental Health Tribunal, where an offender’s detention is being reviewed. Although care is taken when processing and analysing the returns, the detail collected is subject to the inaccuracies inherent.</p><p>‘Other’ refers to instances in which data on gender has not been received, or the individual has not disclosed their gender or identifies as non-binary.</p><p> </p><p>The table includes individuals wearing an alcohol monitoring device and subject to an Alcohol Abstinence Monitoring Requirement (AAMR) as a requirement of a community order or suspended sentence order, and individuals subject to an Alcohol Monitoring on Licence (AML) condition following custody.</p><p> </p><p>AAMR is a community-based sentence requirement for alcohol related offending which imposes an alcohol ban for up to 120 days, compliance is electronically monitored using an alcohol tag. AAMR was introduced in Wales in October 2020 and was expanded to all England and Wales in March 2021.</p><p> </p><p>AML allows probation to impose an additional licence condition that either bans drinking alcohol or limits use, monitored by an alcohol tag. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 27/02/2024 answer text <p>Published data held by the Ministry of Justice shows that no landlords were prosecuted in relation to renting properties to individuals without the right to reside in the country in the last 5 years under the following offences in the Immigration Act 2016, and consequently there have been no convictions in criminal courts.</p><p> </p><p>This act covers the following relevant offences:</p><ol><li>Landlord of premises occupied under residential tenancy agreement by adult disqualified due to immigration status</li><li>Responsible landlord allows post-grant contravention in relation to residential tenancy agreement</li><li>Agent responsible for post-grant contravention in relation to residential tenancy agreement</li></ol><p> </p><p>Any cases heard at court as a result of prosecutions under the above offences are criminal offences.
