The UK continues to report its aid spend in line with the international definitions of Official Development Assistance as defined by the OECD Development Assistance Committee.</p><p>We will continue to look at how the UK’s aid can maximise the UK’s role as a force for good in the world, including through the Integrated Review. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 02/07/2020 answer text <p>There is a connection between population growth, sustainable development and climate change, though unsustainable consumption remains the primary driver of climate change and environmental degradation.</p><p>The Government has placed a high priority on tackling climate change and protecting the environment and, as part of this, we have committed to double our international climate finance over the next five years. This will help developing countries reduce global carbon emissions, cope with the climate change impacts that are already locked in, and invest more in nature.</p><p>We regularly discuss all aspects of climate change and environmental degradation with other governments and intergovernmental agencies and will continue to play a leading role in international work to combat these issues. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 09/06/2020 answer text <p>The UK is proud to have raised $8.8 billion for Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance at the Global Vaccine Summit on 4 June. This funding, which includes the UK’s world-leading £1.65 billion pledge, will support Gavi’s strategy to leave no one behind with immunisation over the next five years.</p><p>The UK’s central priority for Gavi is equity. Gavi immunises nearly half of the world’s children, and since 2000, has increased basic immunisation coverage levels in Gavi-supported countries from 59% to 80%. Despite increases in overall immunisation coverage levels, health systems in the poorest countries are still not reaching almost one in five children with a full course of basic vaccines.</p><p>These remaining pockets of under-immunised children are often the hardest to reach. The UK is working closely with Gavi to ensure that we remove barriers to immunisation for the most marginalised children. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 02/03/2020 answer text <p>Historically Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG) has not measured the Green House Gases emissions associated with its investments.</p><p>However, it has now developed a methodology to measure the Green House Gases emissions associated with its investment portfolio and conducted an assessment of its portfolio beginning with the highest emitting sector, which is energy.</p><p>It will disclose the Green House Gases footprint associated with its investment portfolio going forwards as part of its commitment to Taskforce for Climate Related Financial Disclosures reporting from this year onwards (with the first disclosure in 2021).</p><p>Data on all PIDG investment commitments are available online via its Results Monitoring Database and its annual reports (<a href="https://www.pidg.org/" target="_blank">https://www.pidg.org/</a>).
