I did so personally during my visit to Israel and subsequently.</p><p>In all but the most exceptional of circumstances demolitions and evictions are contrary to International Humanitarian Law. We work closely with the Global Polio Eradication Initiative through engagement at regular governance meetings as well as working with a wide range of other stakeholders including in encouraging others to provide financial support.</p><p> </p><p>We engage closely with parliamentarians through the International Development Committee and All-Party Parliamentary Group on Immunisations to raise awareness and support for continued financing and support to countries at high risk of polio outbreaks. We have pressed for any movement to be safe, voluntary and informed, and for strong protection safeguards and measures to be part of any relocation plan. We have insisted that humanitarian aid assistance should be provided independently of movements and of any relocation plan. Our support for implementation of the political declaration includes funding to the World Health Organisation to assist countries to develop Universal Health Coverage country plans and the health financing strategies needed to meet the commitment to increase public spending on health, with an emphasis on primary health care. <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/speeches/alok-sharma-speech-to-un-general-assembly-on-universal-health-coverage" target="_blank">Our announcement</a> at the UN General Assembly of £600m to buy family planning supplies will <a href="https://www.telegraph.co.uk/global-health/women-and-girls/uk-announce-600m-aid-family-planning-us-ramps-anti-abortion/" target="_blank">provide access to family planning</a> for 20 million women and girls each year up to 2025.
