<p>The Ross Fund is a portfolio of programmes, identified in the UK Aid Strategy,
led by DFID and the Department of Health (DH), aimed at combatting the world's most

two Departments jointly developed the objectives of the Ross Fund Portfolio and agreed
their respective areas of work. There is regular ongoing coordination and joint strategic
oversight between DFID and DH. Senior managers and programme officials, from each
department, meet quarterly, to ensure strategic oversight of the work across the two
Departments.</p>
