Core Spending Power will rise by an estimated 4.4 per cent in real terms, to around £49.2 billion. This will help provide valuable support for services to young people. We are pleased that the Youth Hostel Association offered to provide properties to be used by key workers and vulnerable members of society during the COVID-19 pandemic. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/05/2020 answer text <p>It is only right that we celebrate the enormous contribution of the Windrush Generation and their descendants to our social, economic and cultural life. 2020 will see the second provision of an annual £500,000 grant to support celebrations on 22 June and ensure a lasting legacy.</p><p>Earlier this year, on the advice of the Windrush Day Grants Committee, the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government approved funding to be allocated among 49 charities, community groups and local authorities.</p><p>In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, we have been working with grantees to encourage them to develop contingency plans if there are still restrictions on gatherings and the use of public buildings on 22 June. In the midst of challenging circumstances, the grantees are demonstrating admirable willingness and aptitude to deliver their project outcomes through online or virtual means to coincide with Windrush Day, and by postponing some delivery until later in the year where necessary.
