During this process 24 women applied to be independent members. The Working Group is led by Ms Akeela Ahmed OBE, founder of a civil society platform dedicated to amplifying women’s voices, and we have appointed Ms Asma Ali, Data Protection Officer and Solicitor for the Police Service of Scotland.
