The service commenced in February 2015 and became fully operational on 1 August 2015.</p><p>The current BRP Collection contract is due to end on 31 July 2019. That is why we reformed the tools and powers available to tackle Anti-Social behaviour through the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014.</del><del class="ministerial">In 2019/20 Lancashire Police are receiving £285.1 million of funding, an increase of £18.4 million, on 2018/19. Funding for 2020-21 for individual forces will be announced as part of the provisional police settlement later this year. Decisions about the allocation of police resources are for Chief Constables and democratically accountable Police and Crime Commissioners, who are best placed to meet the needs of their local community.</del></p><p><ins class="ministerial">The police and Crown Prosecution Services (CPS) are responsible for charging decisions with regards to county lines related criminality. The key is that prosecutions are brought, and the charges should cover the full range of criminality involved including Modern Slavery offences.We are working with the police and the CPS to take full advantage of powers in the Modern Slavery Act when making charging decisions against county line gang members. Of these:</p><p>• 30 administrative review applications were rejected, e.g. because no EU Settlement Scheme application had been received;</p><p>• in all the remaining 253 cases, the applicant was challenging a grant of pre-settled status rather than settled status, of which:</p><p>o 22 of these grants of pre-settled status were upheld following the administrative review; and <br>o 231 of these grants of pre-settled status were overturned, and the applicant was instead granted settled status following administrative review. This is why the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) was established to provide a single, central authority on cyber security at the national level. The NCSC has created the small business guide to help small businesses protect themselves from the most common cyber attacks.</p><p>The Government continues to invest in the law enforcement response to cyber crime, over £200 million since 2010. This includes investment in the Protect network so in all 43 force areas there is someone dedicated to helping businesses and individuals protect themselves from cyber crime.
