star this property answer text <p>We have awarded £6 million of Building a Stronger Britain Together (BSBT) funding to 136 projects delivered by 126 civil society groups. Groups can make multiple applications, with a maximum value for each of £50,000 for a grant application and £75,000 for in-kind support.</p><p> </p><p>All civil society groups in receipt of BSBT funding are working to tackle extremism as defined in the Counter Extremism Strategy. Under the disclosure rules, convictions and cautions received in youth are accordingly already subject to disclosure for significantly reduced periods in comparison to those received as an adult.</p><p> </p><p>The Government will be considering carefully the recommendations made by the Justice Select Committee in their report on the disclosure of youth criminal records, alongside the review by David Lammy MP into the treatment of, and outcomes for, Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic individuals in the criminal justice system. The Government is also considering recommendations made by Charlie Taylor in his review of the Youth Justice System in England and Wales as well as broader safeguarding considerations. The Government keeps filtering rules under constant review. We will respond to reports pertaining to disclosure fully in due course.</p>

star this property answer text <p>Domestic Violence Protection Orders (DVPOs), which can prevent the perpetrator from returning to a residence and from having contact with the victim for up to 28 days, were rolled out across England and Wales from March 2014.</p><p> </p><p>Latest Ministry of Justice figures show that between April 2015 and March 2016, 3,951 DVPOs have been issued by Magistrates’ Courts. The Home Office does not hold data disaggregated to constituency or London borough level.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Board of the Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA) is constituted under The Gangmasters (Licensing Authority) Regulations 2015. Recruitment to the Board follows a fair and open process in line with the Government’s code of practice on public appointments.</p><p>Anyone with relevant experience and ability to contribute to the GLAA Board, including those with trade union experience, is able to apply to recruitment rounds.</p><p>The Department has not discussed the effectiveness of the GLAA Board with trade union representatives.</p> more like this
