We are working across government to ensure the immigration system works in the national interest and will use the findings of this report, including those in respect of labour market regulation, to inform our approach. The Government has already taken action to increase the maximum penalty for National Minimum Wage underpayment from £5,000 to £20,000 per employer, and will now introduce primary legislation so that the penalty can be applied on a per worker basis, substantially increasing the penalty employers have to pay. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/03/2014 answer text <p> </p><p> </p><p>The Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Command of the National <br />Crime Agency (NCA) is the UK's national law enforcement agency committed to <br />tackling the sexual abuse of children in both the online and offline <br />environments - with the principal aim of identifying, locating and safeguarding <br />children and young people from harm. <br /><br />Government funding for the CEOP Command of the NCA was £6.381million in <br />2012/13. The work of the CEOP Command in tackling the proliferation of indecent images of <br />children is of utmost importance and that is why we have protected its budget. <br /><br />In addition, every officer in the NCA, which has over 4000 people, has a legal <br />duty to safeguard children and promote child welfare. The NCA's UK and global <br />reach is extensive, with officers stationed in over 40 countries overseas to <br />ensure our international partners are working alongside us to tackle the abuse <br />of children. <br /><br />Police forces also investigate online child abuse, safeguard the victims and <br />prosecute the perpetrators. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 02/07/2014 answer text <p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The revised Prevent strategy, launched on 7 June 2011 has three objectives: respond to the ideological challenge of terrorism; prevent people from being drawn into terrorism and ensure they are given appropriate advice and support; work with sectors and institutions where there are risks of radicalisation which we need to address.<br><br>We refocused the Prevent strategy in 2011 so that we confront the ideology behind extremism, and tackle non-violent extremism as well as violent extremism. Following the recommendations made by the Prime Minister's Task Force on Tackling Radicalisation and Extremism at the end of last year, the Government is now implementing a raft of practical measures to further strengthen our approach across a range of sectors including prisons, schools, universities and online.<br><br>Prevent practitioners across the country work with Local Authorities and key partners, such as the police and the Charity Commission, to provide targeted projects and outreach work. <br><br>One of our initiatives, the Workshop to Raise Awareness of Prevent (WRAP), has been delivered to over 24,000 front-line public sector staff. This teaches front-line staff who work in various sectors and institutions (such as in the education and health sectors) how to recognise people who may be vulnerable to radicalisation, and how to refer people who may need support to Channel.<br><br>We also have a multi-agency programme, Channel, which supports and protects individuals who may be vulnerable to being drawn into any form of terrorism.<br><br>In addition, my Department continues to work with the Department of Education on long-term efforts on reducing the risk of radicalisation in young people, particularly within the schools sector. Since June 2011, Prevent has committed £1.4 million to fund more than 50 projects in schools and madrassahs across the country. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/06/2014 answer text <p> </p><p>Prevent, which is a key strand of the Government's counter-terrorism strategy, aims to stop people becoming terrorists or supporting terrorism. The Prevent strategy, which was revised in 2011, now covers all forms of extremism where it creates an environment conducive to terrorism. <br><br>The Prevent strategy has three objectives: respond to the ideological challenge of terrorism and the threat we face from those who promote it; prevent people from being drawn into terrorism and ensuring that they are given appropriate advice and support; and work with sectors and institutions where there are risks of radicalisation that we need to address.<br><br>Frontline staff have a significant role to play. We have produced a training tool, ‘Workshop to Raise Awareness of Prevent' (WRAP), which teaches staff how to recognise people who may be vulnerable to radicalisation and how to refer people who may need support to our Channel programme.<br><br>Channel is a key element of the Prevent strategy, and was rolled out nationally in April 2012. It uses existing collaboration between local authorities, the police, the local community and statutory partners (such as the education and health sectors, social services, children's and youth services, and offender management services), to identify individuals at risk of being drawn into terrorism, assess the nature and extent of that risk; and develop the most appropriate support plan for the individuals concerned.<br><br>Since roll-out, over 2000 Channel referrals have been received, and over 300 people offered support.
