star this property answer text <p>We are committed to ensuring our operational teams have the resources they need to run an efficient and effective system, and we actively monitor workflows to ensure sufficient resources are in place to meet demand. We currently have 1,500 UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) European Casework staff in post.</p><p>In line with the Withdrawal Agreement, the rights of someone who has made a valid application to the EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS) before the deadline of 30 June 2021 will be protected while the outcome of the application is pending. This includes any appeal against a decision to refuse status.</p><p>Someone who applies by 30 June 2021 and has not yet been granted status under the EUSS can continue to live their life in the UK as now, until their application is finally determined.</p><p>Employers and landlords should provide individuals with every opportunity to demonstrate their right to work and rent and should not discriminate on the basis of race or any of the other protected characteristics.</p><p>Legislation provides for a Code of Practice on avoiding unlawful discrimination at:</p><ul><li><a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/right-to-work-checkscode-of-practice-on-avoiding-discrimination" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/right-to-work-checkscode-of-practice-on-avoiding-discrimination</a></li><li> </li><li><a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/right-to-rent-landlords-code-of-practice" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/right-to-rent-landlords-code-of-practice</a></li></ul><p>From 1 July, individuals who have made an in time application and are awaiting a decision on their application, will be able to utilise their Certificate of Application as proof of their right to work or rent when verified by Home Office status checking services.</p>

star this property answer text <p>We intend to publish the statutory guidance on measures in the Offensive Weapons Act 2019 shortly, and in advance of these measures coming in to force later this year. Commencement of the Act was paused due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the measures put in place to keep people safe, and to avoid placing significant additional burdens on the courts, police, retailers and delivery companies at a difficult time.</p><p>With the easing of lockdown restrictions we are now able to take forward the action necessary to allow for commencement later this year.</p> more like this

The UK Government continues to assess the Muslim Brotherhood’s activities when appropriate to ensure our position is based on the latest information available and we will consider action against the review’s commitments if and where legal thresholds are met.</p><p>Broadcasting regulation is a matter for Ofcom, the UK’s independent media regulator. Ofcom sets clear rules and conditions for broadcasters who apply for a license to broadcast in the UK. The Broadcasting Code places standards around harmful and offensive material, incitement of crime, disorder, hatred or abuse, and responsible religious programming.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Home Office does not routinely publish copies of its data sharing agreements or Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with other Government Departments or other bodies.</p><p>All Home Office data sharing activity is in line with the UK Data Protection and other relevant legislation and in line with government security guidance. When required and in line with the ICO code of practice on data sharing the Department will write and agree a data sharing agreement/MoU to regulate and govern this data sharing.</p><p>These agreements will vary depending on the type of data being shared, the purposes for which is being shared and who it is being shared with.</p><p>The Home Office has a large number of such agreements including the agreements referred to in this question, however these are not routinely published.</p> more like this
