answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 18/07/2019 answer text <p>The Department has no plans to bring forward legislative proposals for amending the regulation of advertising for aesthetic and cosmetic treatments.</p><p>The Government is committed to improving the safety of cosmetic procedures through better training for practitioners, and clear information so that people can make informed decisions about their care.</p><p>The Committee for Advertising Practice (CAP) publish codes and guidance for advertising of cosmetic procedures, including endorsements on social media, which are enforced by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA).
