unstar this property answer text <p>NHS England has statutory responsibility for the commissioning of health services in secure and detained settings, including for the children and young people secure estate and this is undertaken by regional health and justice teams. Following the publication of ‘The Lammy Review: An independent review into the treatment of, and outcomes for, Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic individuals in the Criminal Justice System’, NHS England has aimed to enable central data extraction, including from the Comprehensive Health Assessment Tool, to review this data.</p><p>During 2021/22, data on those with protected characteristics has been collected for use by the adult secure estate. This approach is being developed during 2022/23 to inform the continuous improvement of care of children and young people in secure settings.</p><p><strong> </strong></p> more like this

The standard period for bringing a personal injury claim is three years from the date on which the cause of action accrued or three years from the injured person’s date of knowledge, if later. Under section 33 of the Act, the court has discretion to extend this period if it considers it would be equitable to do so, having regard to the various factors listed in this section. unstar this property answer text <p>The National Health Service has developed a tiered programme of support and scrutiny for patients who have experienced the longest waiting times. This involves support from expert teams and a national mutual aid programme to match patients to providers with capacity. Patients waiting up to two years for treatment are being offered greater choice in where they receive treatment to suit their individual circumstances.</p><p>We have provided more than £8 billion from 2022/23 to 2024/25 to increase activity in elective services, in addition to the £2 billion Elective Recovery Fund and £700 million Targeted Investment Fund.</p> more like this

However, the Department monitors and mitigates any disruptions to the continuity of supply of medical products.</p><p>In the event of potential disruption, the Department’s National Supply Disruption Response has been available since March 2020, supporting providers and suppliers with supply disruptions and offering express freight support 24 hours a day, seven days a week.</p> more like this

unstar this property answer text <p>The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) monitors new vaccines in development to inform future work and is aware of a range of Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) vaccines and monoclonal immunisations in late stages of development. The JCVI’s secretariat is planning for a subcommittee on RSV to review these products and advise on the potential use in the national immunisation programme. The timing of the subcommittee will be dependent on progress towards authorisation for these products. However, the first meeting is expected to take place either at the end of 2022 or the beginning of 2023.</p> more like this

Health Education England’s ‘Advancing Dental Care Review’, published in September 2021, made recommendations to address recruitment, retention and attract newly qualified dentists into the National Health Service. These recommendations will be implemented through the Dental Education Reform Programme.</p><p>The Department and NHS England and NHS Improvement are negotiating with the British Dental Association on reforms to the dental contract to ensure that working in the NHS is more attractive for new dentists.</p> more like this

The initial Privacy Information Notice (PIN) referred to the intention to procure a three year contract, originally estimated at £240 million. However, a subsequent decision was made to procure a longer-term contract to allow for an improved return on investment, which increased its value.
