UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has not been involved in any discussions with the World Health Organization or the World Organisation for Animal Health specifically on the general risk of zoonotic disease spread from fur farms globally.</p><p>UKHSA continues to work closely with animal health colleagues at the Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs and the Animal and Plant Health Agency as well as international partners to assess any specific risks that are identified globally which would have potential implications to the United Kingdom public health.</p> more like this

unstar this property answer text <p>UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) is aware of the paper Animal diseases and human future by Min Cui, Bang Shen et al published in Animal Diseases, April 2022. The paper asserts that “approximately 60% of human infectious diseases are zoonotic, and 75% of emerging human infectious diseases originate from animals”. While there is not one internationally agreed figure for the percentages of diseases, emerging or established, that are zoonotic, these figures are broadly in line with that of global public health partners such as World Organisation for Animal Health.</p> more like this

unstar this property answer text <p>Employees, including those on zero hours contracts who are unable to work due to COVID-19 symptoms or they are self-isolating should inform their employer. They should work from home if they can and are well enough to do so. If they cannot work from home, they may be eligible for the following support:</p><p>- The £500 Test and Trace Support Payment for those on low incomes who have to self-isolate because they have tested positive for COVID-19 or been notified as a close contact of someone who has tested positive and they are not exempt from self-isolation;</p><p>- Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) from their employer;</p><p>- New Style Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) for those not eligible for SSP, who are under State Pension age and have made enough National Insurance contributions, which may also be available if their child has symptoms or is self-isolating;</p><p>- Universal Credit for individuals or their partner under State Pension age and have £16,000 or less in savings, which could also available alongside SSP or New Style ESA;</p><p>- Pension Credit for those with symptoms or self-isolating and their partner at State Pension age, which could also be available with SSP.</p>

unstar this property answer text <p>There are currently no plans to deliver such a network of hubs nationally. Plans for such interventions are for local commissioning and clinical determination.</p><p> </p><p>However, we are committed to implementing the proposals in the children and young people’s mental health Green Paper, including mental health support teams (MHSTs) in schools and colleges. By 2023/24, at least an additional 345,000 children and young people aged 0-25 years old will be able to access National Health Service funded mental health services and school or college-based MHSTs.</p><p> </p><p>MHSTs will provide a core offer of evidence-based mental health support, but clinical commissioning groups will have flexibility to design teams according to local need and existing provision. We expect them to do so in partnership with schools and colleges, local authorities and other local bodies.</p> more like this

Following the publication of ‘The Lammy Review: An independent review into the treatment of, and outcomes for, Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic individuals in the Criminal Justice System’, NHS England has aimed to enable central data extraction, including from the Comprehensive Health Assessment Tool, to review this data.</p><p>During 2021/22, data on those with protected characteristics has been collected for use by the adult secure estate. This approach is being developed during 2022/23 to inform the continuous improvement of care of children and young people in secure settings.</p><p><strong> </strong></p> more like this
