	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 29/10/2019 answer text <p>Whilst Government Departments do not seek accreditation to the Living Wage Foundation in relation to their rates of pay, the Department’s pay levels are above the current London Living Wage rates (as defined by the Living Wage Foundation) for directly employed members of staff and agency staff that are also sourced via the Crown Commercial Services Framework Contingent Labour Framework.</p><p>Contractor pay levels adhere to the statutory requirements to pay the National Minimum Wage or National Living Wage. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/01/2020 answer text <p>The level of provision of local health services available to patients, including fertility treatment, is, and has been since the 1990s, a matter for local healthcare commissioners. Clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) have a statutory responsibility to commission healthcare services including fertility services that meet the needs of their whole population.</p><p>The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority’s guidance for commissioners is a new tool to help them implement the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) fertility guidelines.</p><p>The Government’s position is that CCGs should be following the NICE fertility guidelines as part of their National Health Service service offer to local people. A further annual report will be published by the University of Bristol later this year. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 25/10/2019 answer text <p>Since February 2019, the Taskforce has met on two further occasions on the following subjects:</p><p> </p><p>25 April 2019 on the menopause.</p><p>4 July 2019 on menstrual health.</p><p> </p><p>The draft Terms of Reference were revised after the Taskforce met on 31 January 2019, focusing on unplanned pregnancy. All of these meetings were held, and the draft Terms of Reference revised, when the Taskforce was co-chaired by the then Parliamentary Under Secretary for Mental Health, Inequalities and Suicide Prevention (Jackie Doyle-Price MP).</p><p> </p><p>The Taskforce has not worked directly with the campaign against painful hysteroscopies or other campaign groups. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/02/2020 answer text <p>Since 2011 the Department has provided over £26.8 million in financial support to NHS Blood and Transplant and Anthony Nolan to enable the establishment of a unified United Kingdom Stem Cell Registry and improve access to and outcomes of stem cell donation. This includes improving equity of access to unrelated donor stem cell transplantation for black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) patients through targeted recruitment to the UK Stem Cell Registry.</p><p>Current funding includes very specific stipulations about the numbers of newly registered bone marrow donors, and the proportion of umbilical cords stored in the UK Cord Blood Bank that must be from BAME backgrounds (35-40%). There are now 1.6 million donors on the UK’s aligned stem cell registry and the proportion of BAME donors in the UK registry has gone up from 11% to 14% between 2014 and 2019.
