	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 02/08/2019 answer text <p>The United Kingdom will leave the European Union on 31 October, with or without a deal. The Government would prefer the UK to leave the EU with a deal and, in the event that the UK leaves the EU with a new deal, the Department’s assessment is that access to medicines and medical devices will not change for industry or the National Health Service.</p><p>While the Prime Minister is confident that he can strike a new arrangement with the EU, it is vital that we prepare for a ‘no deal’ outcome. Therefore, as a responsible Government, we continue to take steps to ensure the supply of medicines and medical products is uninterrupted in a ‘no deal’ scenario.</p><p>On 26 June, we wrote to suppliers of medicines to the UK from or via the EU or European Economic Area setting out our continuing multi-layered approach to ensure the continuity of supply of all medicines and medical products in a potential ‘no deal’ exit scenario on 31 October.</p><p>Further details can be found at the following link:</p><p><a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/news/medicines-and-medical-products-supply-government-updates-no-deal-brexit-plans" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/news/medicines-and-medical-products-supply-government-updates-no-deal-brexit-plans</a></p><p>Ahead of 31 October, all necessary funding will be made available to support our ‘no deal’ preparations. On 1 August, Her Majesty’s Treasury announced an additional £434 million made available to help ensure continuity of supply of vital medicines and medical products, including through freight capacity, warehousing and stockpiling.</p><p>We are confident that the Department is doing everything appropriate to prepare for a possible ‘no deal’ EU exit on 31 October. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/07/2019 answer text <p>The Department fully understands that maintaining access to Montelukast is vitally important to many people in this country.</p><p>The Department has well established processes to manage and mitigate the small number of supply problems that may arise at any one time.</p><p>We are aware that one of the main suppliers of Montelukast 10 milligram (mg) tablets had a recent short-term supply issue. However, supplies of Montelukast from alternative suppliers remained available in sufficient quantities to meet normal demand. In addition, supplies of Montelukast 5mg tablets and Montelukast chewable 4mg tablets remained available.</p><p>Supplies of Montelukast tablets currently remain available in volumes that are sufficient to meet historic demand. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/07/2019 answer text <p>Public Health England (PHE) has not reviewed the health risks of rubber crumb in artificial sports pitches, as this is being assessed at the European level by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). PHE has been monitoring the evidence as it becomes available.</p><p>The most recent ECHA report, published in 2018, stated that there was a very low level of health concern from playing on artificial pitches that contain rubber crumb, and ECHA note that they found no reason to advise people against playing sport on synthetic turf containing recycled rubber granules as infill material. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/06/2019 answer text <p>The Government recognises the need to adequately fund mental health services for children and young people and, as indicated in the NHS Long Term Plan, for the first time, funding for children and young people’s mental health services will grow faster than both overall National Health Service funding and total mental health funding. The figures for emergency hospital admissions for asthma in this period are not available in the requested format and a comparative assessment has not been made.</p><p>In January 2019, the Government launched the Clean Air Strategy, which sets out plans for dealing with all sources of air pollution to save lives, protect nature and boost the economy.</p><p>The Department collaborated with the National Review of Asthma Deaths led by the Royal College of Physicians which examined the circumstances surrounding deaths from asthma and reported in 2015.
