	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/11/2019 answer text <p>The Food Hygiene Rating Scheme is operated by the Food Standards Agency (FSA) in partnership with local authorities across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.</p><p> </p><p>Food businesses covered by the scheme are provided with stickers showing their rating. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/11/2019 answer text <p>Overall this season, sufficient flu nasal spray (a live attenuated influenza vaccine - LAIV) has been procured to ensure that all eligible children who present for vaccination can receive it. Deliveries of LAIV are occurring slightly later this season, compared to previous seasons. Available stocks are being managed closely and Public Health England is working with Astra Zeneca and NHS England and NHS Improvement to ensure that all eligible children get their flu vaccine as soon as possible. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/11/2019 answer text <p>Flu vaccine uptake is closely monitored with weekly publication of data on two and three year olds who are offered vaccine in general practice. Vaccination of these children started later this year because of a delay in availability of the nasal spray vaccine.</p><p> </p><p>As a consequence of this delay, the latest provisional data indicates that just under 1% of all eligible pre-school children have received the nasal spray vaccine. We anticipate that the uptake will increase in line with previous years as vaccine becomes available.</p><p> </p><p>Data on flu vaccine uptake in school-aged children is collected monthly. The Department has also had discussions with the supplier of the adjuvanted trivalent influenza vaccine (aTIV), which is one of the vaccines available for people aged 65 years and older.</p><p>The aTIV is locally procured by general practitioners (GP) and pharmacists who are responsible for ordering supplies of the vaccine they require for their population group. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 09/09/2019 answer text <p>NHS England is continuously investing in initiatives to help ensure equality of access to screening and, through the public health functions agreement (S7a), NHS England aims to improve public health outcomes and reduce inequalities.</p><p>General practitioner practices are required to ensure that their premises are suitable for the delivery of essential and where appropriate additional services, and that they are sufficient to meet the reasonable needs of its patients, including those with disabilities. This involves making any reasonable adjustments necessary or making alternative arrangements such as referral to a specialist screening provider or undertaking the procedures in another setting that is more suitable given any limitations to a patient’s mobility. Where a patient requires specialist equipment, clinical staff will ensure that patients have access to its use in a safe environment.</p><p>As part of the NHS Long Term Plan, NHS England asked Sir Mike Richards to lead a review of the current cancer screening programmes. The review will be finalised in autumn 2019 and will make recommendations to further improve the delivery of the screening programmes, including the cervical screening. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 09/05/2019 answer text <p>The Department has provided more than £26 million to NHS Blood and Transplant and Anthony Nolan for stem cell donation since 2011. The funding has specific targets about the proportion of young donors, specifically young male donors, due to research identifying that younger donors offer the potential for better patient outcomes and a greater chance of survival. The Anthony Nolan and NHS Stem Cell Registry which was supported by the Department funding has over 1.4 million registered donors. 69% of new donors recruited to the registry in 2017 were under the age of 30.</p><p>Raising awareness about the importance of stem cell donation is everyone's business. The government fully supports and recognises the important work charities do to encourage registration and donation for the benefit of patients.
