answer text The UK fully supports the UN Action Plan for Libya set out at the UN General Assembly by the Special Representative of the Secretary-General, Ghassan Salamé, and endorsed in the Security Council's Presidential Statement of 14 December 2017. The Action Plan envisages negotiations on limited amendments to the Libya Political Agreement, a National Conference, preparations for elections and the provision of humanitarian assistance where it is needed in Libya. The UK supports the Special Representative's emphasis on the importance of ensuring that elections, when they happen, are preceded by the necessary political, legislative and security preparations. more like this

Officially recognised places of worship are effectively under state control. Given the closed nature of the regime it is difficult to verify reports.

We shall continue to work bilaterally and with partners in international fora, such as in the UN General Assembly and Human Rights Council, to raise our concerns on human rights issues with the DPRK government at every opportunity. answer text
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office assesses that Somalia has made some progress towards upholding and protecting human rights, including freedom of religion or belief. However, there continue to be serious violations and abuses and a culture of impunity persists. The British Government has not made specific representations to the Somali Government on protection of religious freedoms, but has consistently called for the protection of all human rights in Somalia and for the Somali Government to fulfil its international obligations and commitments. This includes the UK statement at the 36th session of the UN Human Rights Council on 27 September 2017 and in the communiqué of the London Somalia Conference held in May 2017.

more like this
