I raised specific human rights cases with the State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam on 30 November 2017, and our concerns regarding disappearances with Foreign Secretary Shahidul Haque on 2 November 2017. Lord Ahmad, FCO Minister for the Commonwealth and the UN, raised our human rights concerns, including enforced disappearances, with senior leaders in the Government of Bangladesh during his visit to Bangladesh from 7 to 10 August.</p><p>Bangladesh remains an FCO Human Rights Priority Country. The Action Plan envisages negotiations on limited amendments to the Libya Political Agreement, a National Conference, preparations for elections and the provision of humanitarian assistance where it is needed in Libya. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/01/2018 answer text <p>​We are aware of reports, including the UN Commission of Inquiry report (2014), that people in North Korea who are involved in religion (outside of state-controlled organisations), face severe punishment for practising their beliefs, including summary executions, torture, lack of judicial process and forced labour. Officially recognised places of worship are effectively under state control. Given the closed nature of the regime it is difficult to verify reports.</p><p>We shall continue to work bilaterally and with partners in international fora, such as in the UN General Assembly and Human Rights Council, to raise our concerns on human rights issues with the DPRK government at every opportunity. This is partly as a result of higher than expected numbers of arrivals over the winter months. In response to the migration crisis in Greece, the UK provided 500,000 relief items such as tents, blankets and clothes, and delivered more than 1.4 million meals to vulnerable migrants and refugees. However, there continue to be serious violations and abuses and a culture of impunity persists. The British Government has not made specific representations to the Somali Government on protection of religious freedoms, but has consistently called for the protection of all human rights in Somalia and for the Somali Government to fulfil its international obligations and commitments. We are currently aware of a small number of British nationals detained in Ethiopia, but not necessarily as political prisoners. The UK has repeatedly raised human rights concerns with the Ethiopian Government, including around the arrest and imprisonment of people for their political views.
