<p>The UK is leading efforts to encourage a more accountable and transparent democratic
process in Kosovo. We are working with 'Democracy 4 Development' to encourage more
volunteering and civic activism. Since 2016, we have worked with the Westminster Foundation
for Democracy to strengthen the transparency and accountability of all political parties.
Previously, we have worked with local non-governmental organisations to establish
the Public Accounts Committee, and to provide expertise to the Assembly Committee
for Economic Development.</p>
