answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/07/2019 answer text <p>Ahead of the Foreign Secretary’s visit to Tehran in November 2018, a request was made for a meeting with Mrs Zaghari-Ratcliffe. Iran continues to deny consular access, as it does not recognise dual nationality. Nonetheless, we continue to request it. We continue to raise Mrs Zaghari-Ratcliffe’s case with the Iranian Government at every opportunity, which includes making requests for consular access. I did exactly this during my visit to Tehran on 23 June. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 09/07/2019 answer text <p>The treatment of all British-Iranians detained in Iran, including Mrs Zaghari-Ratcliffe, is a priority for the Government. We continue to raise her case, and our other consular cases, with the Iranian Government at every opportunity, including requesting consular access. I did this during my visit to Tehran on 23 June. We will continue to take action in line with what we believe will produce the best outcomes in their cases</p><p> </p><p><br> Mrs Zaghari-Ratcliffe does not hold diplomatic status; rather, the Foreign Secretary exercised diplomatic protection in her case.
