The report has identified specific steps the British Government can take to address the issues faced by persecuted Christians around the world. I am pleased to confirm that the Government has accepted the recommendations in full and work will now begin to implement them. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/07/2019 answer text <p>All UK-funded programmes and projects to support actions agreed at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) 2018 are subject to regular reviews. The majority of such programmes and projects are subject to the standard Annual Review processes of either the Department for International Development (DfID) or the Conflict, Stability and Security Fund (CSSF), which look at the effectiveness and value for money of each programme, and consider how teams have assessed risk and changing contexts. Summaries of the annual reviews are published on the CSSF page on gov.uk, while DfID reviews are published on DfID's Development Tracker, again accessed through gov.uk. DfID annual reviews are published throughout the year, depending on the date of the review. The former Foreign Secretary spoke to the Iranian Foreign Minister on 17 July with the aim of encouraging de-escalation. However, instead of responding constructively, Iran chose to seize the Stena Impero. The former Foreign Secretary made a statement to the House on 22 July, outlining actions the UK government is taking in response.</p><p>We are clear that under international law, Iran had no right to obstruct Stena Impero, let alone board her. This incident was a breach of the principle of free navigation on which the global trading system and the world economy ultimately depend. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/07/2019 answer text <p>Reports about forced separation of children, including Dr Adrian Zenz's report of 4 July 2019, add to the growing body of evidence about the disturbing situation that Uyghurs and other minorities are facing in Xinjiang. We assess that there could be more than a million Uyghurs and other minorities who have been or are currently detained extra-judicially in detention camps in the province. As Mr Field explained in a Westminster Hall debate on 29 January 2019, these detentions have split up families and have had a significant impact on the children of those detained.</p><p>We also frequently raise our concerns about the human rights situation in Xinjiang bilaterally with the Chinese Government and in multilateral fora.
