	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/06/2019 answer text <p>​As envisaged by UN Security Council Resolution 2166, HMG and UK law enforcement officials are in close contact with their Dutch counterparts and the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) into the shooting down of flight MH17.</p><p>The execution of any individual warrants is a matter for the UK's independent police services.</p><p>On 19 June the MH17 JIT and the Dutch National Prosecutor announced they were charging four suspects with the murder of 298 people and causing the crash of a Malaysian Airlines flight over eastern Ukraine. In his statement that day, the Foreign Secretary, called on Russia to cooperate fully in the investigation. This assistance included referrals to victim support organisations, advice on repatriation, updates on the investigation, and the deployment of a Family Liaison Officer (for those based in the UK). The suggestion to decouple the youth budget from the main budget is just one option proposed to manage the CoE's budget deficit following Russia's non-payment of its contributions and as part of wider reforms and efficiency savings. The UK's priority remains to protect the core functions of the CoE, including the European Court of Human Rights and the European Convention system. These latest attacks build on a pattern of destabilising Iranian behaviour and pose a serious danger to peace and stability in the region.</p><p> </p><p>The UK remains in close coordination with international partners to find diplomatic solutions to de-escalate tensions. Our Ambassador to Iran sought and was granted a meeting with the Iranian government on 15 June, where they discussed developments in the region and a range of other topics.</p><p> </p><p>We have long made clear to Iran our concern about their destabilising regional activity, particularly the proliferation of ballistic missiles and support to non-state groups, in Iraq, Syria, Yemen and elsewhere. In targeting civilian shipping, international norms have been violated. It is essential that tankers and crews are able to pass through international waters safely. We call on Iran urgently to cease all forms of destabilising activity.</p><p> </p><p>On 22-23 June, I met with senior Iranian Government representatives. I held open, frank and constructive conversations with the Iranian authorities.
