We are seeking to replicate the effects of our international treaties, as far as possible and where relevant, and we are engaging closely with third parties to deliver continuity as we leave the EU.</p><p>In relation to those international agreements listed under the EU Treaties Office database that have been superseded, are redundant, or no longer relevant to the UK, we have a responsibility not to release information that could hinder our discussions with partner countries. We are seeking to agree a reciprocal framework for mobility with the EU which will allow people to travel visa-free for tourism and temporary business activities. It would mean creating a customs border down the Irish sea and breaking the integrity of the UK. The proposals we have put forward for our future economic relationship would allow both sides to meet our commitments to the people of Northern Ireland in full. We are working hard to get a deal on that basis. In the absence of any further action, the EEA Agreement will no longer operate in respect of the UK when we leave the EU. We do not consider, therefore, that providing written notice to the other Contracting Parties under Article 127 of the EEA Agreement is necessary.</p><p>We agreed with the EU at March European Council that they will notify third parties that the UK will be treated as a Member State for the purposes of international agreements during the implementation period. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/11/2018 answer text <p>Government departments make use of non-disclosure agreements when structuring engagements with businesses or other organisations on preparations for leaving the EU.</p><p>They are also a common component of contractual arrangements that are used to protect commercial considerations of the parties involved or to protect sensitives around the development of Government policy.</p><p>It is entirely normal practice to use such agreements and they are therefore sometimes necessary for Government departments who are responsible for managing their preparations for leaving the EU. Two rounds of initial discussions have taken place with the Article 50 Task Force on science and innovation, the first on 22 May and the second on 7 June. Both sets of discussions were constructive, demonstrating a strong case for continued collaboration in this area.</p><p>This science and innovation accord will be underpinned by the UK’s wider agreements with the EU, including those on data sharing and protection. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/11/2018 answer text <p>The Government set out its position on the future economic relationship with the EU, including on intellectual property and the cross-border provision of legal services, in the White Paper published on 12 July 2018. The final outcome is subject to future negotiations with the European Union.</p><p>In the meantime, we have agreed withdrawal provisions with the EU that cover intellectual property and provide right holders and intellectual property practitioners with legal certainty. In particular, the Government will provide holders of EU trade marks and designs with equivalent UK rights so that they do not experience any loss of protection in the UK after the end of the implementation period. These rights will be provided automatically and for free.</p><p>Further, we are working with the EU to ensure that the Withdrawal Agreement contains appropriate provisions for intellectual property practitioners in pending proceedings before the EU Intellectual Property Office at the end of the implementation period.
