A well-functioning border is also in the interests of the surrounding Spanish region, including the thousands of Spanish workers who cross the border every day. The negotiating team supporting the Secretary of State for Exiting the EU and the Prime Minister in these negotiations is strong and experienced.</p><p>This is an unprecedented negotiation.
