There are also suitable, less harmful alternatives.</p><p> </p><p>While some countries have opted to ban only those plastic particles added for exfoliating and cleansing purposes, our ban covers all microplastic particles in rinse-off personal care products. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/01/2018 answer text <p>Since taking office the Secretary of State has met the Scottish Cabinet Secretary for Rural Economy and Connectivity, Fergus Ewing, five times. I have also met Mr Ewing. Defra officials talk regularly to the Scottish Government, along with their counterparts in Wales and Northern Ireland.</p><p> </p><p>Ministers and officials are in regular contact with stakeholders from all of the devolved administrations.
