answer text <p>We remain committed to fishing at MSY. In the North Sea multi-annual plan (MAP), the target fishing mortality ranges and the conservation reference points aim to ensure stocks are fished at rates consistent with maximum sustainable yield. We expect the range and reference points to be reviewed regularly to take account of the latest stock advice from the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea.</p><p> </p><p>The North Sea MAP has not yet been adopted and the ranges and reference points set out in the proposal may need to be reviewed to ensure they are consistent with scientific advice for 2018.</p><p> </p> more like this

The success of the industry is crucial to driving growth across the country.</p><p> </p><p>We will continue to support the sector through raising the profile and reputation of British food and drink overseas through the Food is GREAT campaign. Defra and DIT are also opening new markets and supporting exports in priority markets such as China, USA and India. answer text <p>The dairy sector in England is recovering after 2 years of low prices caused largely by global factors. The UK average farm-gate milk price for May 2017 is 26.78 pence per litre, which is 31% higher than the same month in 2016, but a little lower than in March and April. answer text <p>As at close of business on 17 July, 99.9% of customers have received their full Basic Payment Scheme (BPS) 2015 payment. There are 60 farmers still to receive their payment, 58 of which are currently held for legal reasons (such as probate), and 2 still need to be processed. The Rural Payments Agency (RPA) continues to focus on the completion of those outstanding and dealing with any new queries on BPS 2015 claims raised by farmers.</p><p> </p><p>The RPA does not hold information on the average time taken to process a claim. However, for the 2016 year, 90% of farmers were paid within 4 weeks of the payment window opening.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p><del class="ministerial">The Environment Agency have met Dudley Metropolitan Borough Council Environmental Health and Planning Departments four times between November 2016 and July 2017 to discuss Rowan Oak Waste. At each meeting the Environment Agency have provided the latest information on their action against the clearance of the site and their enforcement action against the operator. The Environment Agency have also discussed and agreed how amenity complaints from the site would be dealt with.</del></p><p><del class="ministerial">Councillor Steve Waltho and Councillor Ali Shaukat have also attended these meetings. They have taken the information shared back to their local communities to keep them updated.</del></p><p> </p><p><ins class="ministerial">The Environment Agency has spoken with HM Revenue and Customs on this matter. The Environment Agency have provided them with details regarding the criminal investigation into the site. The investigation is ongoing and we cannot, at this stage, provide the details of what information was shared as this could undermine our enforcement action.</ins></p><p> </p>
