These farms are required to report their ammonia emissions annually through their pollution inventory return. This builds on the commitment in the 25 Year Environment Plan to eliminate all avoidable plastic waste.</p><p>Following a public consultation in 2017, the Fundraising Regulator strengthened its Code of Practice, requiring charitable house to house collectors not to post collection bags to properties that indicate they do not wish to receive them, thus reducing the distribution of unwanted charity collection bags. The NPPF strengthens protection of ancient woodland, meeting one of the Government’s manifesto commitments. The NPPG will be published shortly. The Government commissioned research on how best to support the industry to continue to meet these targets in the face of climate change. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 01/04/2019 answer text <p>The Government takes the conservation of species seriously.</p><p> </p><p>Polar bears are one of the six species that are protected by stricter import controls at EU level. An import permit will only be issued if no detrimental impact on the survival of the species is demonstrated and the item has been obtained from a legal and sustainable hunting operation. Internationally, we are working hard to make sure hunting does not jeopardise the survival of the species.</p><p> </p><p>We are looking carefully at the issue and have previously commissioned research by Professor McDonald on trophy hunting in relation to lion conservation. Lessons from that research can be applied to other species, including polar bears. It uses a consistent set of criteria to prioritise funding for schemes which ensures a fair distribution of funding based on agreed priorities, principles and needs. It does not allocate or collate information separately for rivers or the coast.</p><p> </p><p>The table below shows the EA’s total capital Grant in Aid (GIA) spend on flood and coastal erosion risk management and total revenue maintenance spend in each year since 2010/11 for which data is available. Capital GIA spend includes the construction of new flood and coastal erosion schemes as well as capitalised salaries and other flood risk management activity such as mapping, modelling and flood warning. Revenue maintenance spend includes developing technology and direct maintenance work such as dredging, inspecting assets, and carrying out repairs.
