We expect to publish allocations for 2017-18 shortly. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 29/03/2017 answer text <p>We have protected school funding so the amount per pupil remains the same during this Parliament. We will be spending an additional £500 million over and above this amount as we introduce the national funding formula. Of this £500 million, we are spending an extra £200 million a year in 2018-19 and 2019-20 on schools. This allows us to combine increases in funding of up to 5.5% in the first two years of the national funding formula with significant protection for those schools due to lose funding.
