	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/02/2015 answer text <p>The Department for Education does not hold information on the average number of hours children have spent exercising in schools each week since May 2010.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Following the recent review of the national curriculum, PE continues to be compulsory at all 4 key stages.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Through the primary PE and sport premium we are also providing over £450 million of ring-fenced funding across three academic years until 2016. The funding goes directly to primary schools, to be spent on the improvement of PE and sport, so that all pupils develop a healthy lifestyle. We published a research brief into the use of the primary PE and sport premium in September 2014. Our findings show that the mean amount of time spent on curricular PE in primary schools has increased by 13 minutes from 109 to 122 minutes a week from 2012/13 to 2013/14. 84 per cent of schools reported an increase in pupil engagement with PE during school time and 83 per cent saw an increase in participation in after school clubs.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Our research was based on a survey of 586 primary schools between April and July 2014. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 06/03/2015 answer text <p>It is the responsibility of employers to compensate their employees or former employees where harm is shown to have resulted from exposure to asbestos. Employers may have to provide compensation in cases where it is shown that they have not taken measures to protect their employees from the risk of exposure to asbestos. As the employers of teaching professionals in educational establishments, it is for schools, academy trusts or governing bodies (depending on the type of school) to provide compensation to employees harmed by asbestos exposure.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>There are a number of schemes available to those who are unable to bring a claim for compensation against their employer or trace the relevant employers' liability insurer, which can support those who may have experienced this. The Department for Education continues to fund the Autism Education Trust which provides training on autism to early years, school and further education staff. Since Spring 2012, approximately 50,000 staff have received training across all levels: level one basic awareness training and level two hands-on tools and techniques training. Level three training has also been provided for those who want to develop their knowledge of autism further or will themselves take on a training role, such as school Special Educational Needs Co-ordinators. The contract for this training has recently been extended for a further year, to the end of March 2016.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Department has funded three autism organisations between 2013-15, including Ambitious about Autism, to work with four general further education colleges and schools to test innovative ways of supporting the transition of young people with autism from school to college. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/03/2015 answer text <p>The original budget for the Property Data Survey Programme was £13 million, which was increased to £20 million following the extension of the programme to include 8,000 further surveys.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>It had always been the intention to complete school surveys, over time, on the new consistent basis established by the Property Data Survey Programme; this simply brought forward the expenditure from future years’ spend. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/03/2015 answer text <p>The Priority School Building Programme 1 (PSBP1) is a centrally managed programme set up to address the needs of the schools most in need of urgent repair.
