young person’s home to the secure home.</p><p>2. As at 31<sup>st</sup> March 2014
there were only 16 secure units operating in England therefore most placements will
inevitably be at a distance from the young person’s home.</p><p>3. Based on children
looked after who are placed in secure accommodation. A full list of secure accommodation
can be found in table 2 of the Statistical First Release, “Children accommodated in
