I think you would agree that is a breathtaking and commendable amount.</p><p> </p><p>This Government is fully committed to helping to build a compassionate country that works for everyone, and this Department will continue its work to make it as easy and compelling as possible to give to charitable causes. We are currently taking steps to help civil society organisations access the tools and training they need to harness the generosity of the public. The Foundation for Social Improvement launched our subsidised fundraising training programme on 6 July this year.
