answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 25/06/2019 answer text <p>Following the Prime Minister's summit on serious violence in April this year, government has been working with the Premier League, Sport England, National Governing Bodies and other organisations in the sport and physical activity sector to explore what more can be done to use sport and physical activity to tackle serious violence, including knife crime.</p><p> </p><p>Using Sport England insight and Home Office hot spot data, action will be targeted at the areas that need it most. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 24/06/2019 answer text <p>The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport monitors library service provision throughout England, but does not hold figures on the number of public libraries operating for all or part of their opening hours without staff.</p><p> </p><p>Following discussions involving the Department and the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) the annual library statistics, will for the first time, report for each local authority the scheduled staffed and unstaffed opening hours per week for their libraries. That review resulted in several new appointments which ensure that all creative industries are adequately represented. Under the new Terms of Reference, all members are appointed for (renewable) three year terms, providing the basis for ongoing review. By design the CIC is made up of leading figureheads of industry, who are able to drive industry lead approaches to the issues discussed in the meetings. They are experts in their field who are well able to champion their respective workforces.</p><p> </p><p>The review also took into account the need to ensure that the diversity of the creative industries workforce was represented on the council. This includes establishing a new statutory duty of care to make companies take more responsibility for the safety of their users. Compliance with this duty of care will be overseen and enforced by an independent regulator. Companies will be held to account for tackling a comprehensive set of online harms, including cyberbullying. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 27/06/2019 answer text <p>Corruption in sport was a key part of the Government’s Anti-Corruption international summit in London in 2016. Subsequently, in December 2018, the UK hosted the first ever high-level meeting of the International Partnership Against Corruption in Sport (IPACS) in London.</p><p> </p><p>The IPACS partnership’s mission is to bring international sports organisations, governments and inter-governmental organisations together “to strengthen and support efforts to eliminate corruption and promote a culture of good governance in and around sport.” December’s meeting saw over 100 representatives from these stakeholder groups to discuss corruption risks around procurement linked to major sporting events; conflicts of interest in major events bidding and hosting; and international sports governance.</p><p> </p><p>The Government also signed the Council of Europe Convention on the Manipulation of Sports Competitions (Macolin Convention) in December 2018.
