answer text <p>To date the Government has invested £105 million in support of the Armed Forces Covenant much of which is benifiting or will benefit veterans across the UK. Veterans in the South West have benefited from a range of projects based either in the South West or operating UK wide worth in excess of £11.5 million. We expect further projects in the South West to benefit in the near future and in the long term when the new £10 million Armed Forces Covenant Fund is introduced in 2015.</p><p> </p><p>Projects in the South West are funded via the Community Covenant Grant Scheme and a £35 million LIBOR Fund.</p><p> </p><p>A list of successful projects to date can be found attached.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p> </p><p>The New Employment Model programme aims to examine how we might strike a better balance between the requirements of service and the demands placed on Service personnel and their families, adjusting where necessary to promote greater stability in service life while continuing to recognise the impact of mobility.<br><br>This programme includes the future accommodation project which is addressing single and family accommodation, with the aim to balance the future needs of the service with the aspirations of Service personnel for affordable and good quality housing. Within the future accommodation project the Ministry of Defence is reviewing entitlement for service families accommodation to better suit modern 21st century families. answer text <p /> <p>I have been asked to reply on behalf of the Home Office.</p><p /> <p>JTAC raised the threat level on 29 August from SUBSTANTIAL to SEVERE. That means that a terrorist attack is highly likely, but there is no intelligence to suggest that an attack is imminent. The increase in the threat level is related to developments in Syria and Iraq where terrorist groups are planning attacks against the West. Some of those plots are likely to involve foreign fighters who have travelled there from the UK and Europe to take part in those conflicts.</p><p /> more like this
