answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/01/2019 answer text <p>No River Class Minesweepers remain in service with the Royal Navy (RN) or the Royal Naval Reserve (RNR).</p><p>Twelve River Class Minesweepers were built in the 1980s. Eleven were assigned to the RNR units around the UK, and a twelfth ship was operated by the RN's Fishery Protection Squadron.
