Over the last few years, the game has grown significantly and at a rapid pace and the success of the Lionesses has highlighted that. However, we need processes and structures in place that protect the interests of the game and the people working in it.</p><p>The independent Review of Women’s Football which launched in September will support the continued growth and development of the women’s game to ensure it has a strong and sustainable future. Ofcom expects to auction up to 190 MHz of additional spectrum at 2.3 GHz and 3.4 GHz in this financial year (2015/16).</p><p>The Productivity Plan published on 10 July announced that the Government had implemented a new model for the centralised management of public sector spectrum. We work with the industry and across Government to improve the sector's resilience, as demonstrated through the £1.57 billion Cultural Recovery Fund during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the £18 billion Energy Bills Relief Scheme.</p><p>We will continue to engage with the sector on the impact of current pressures. As part of this engagement, I met the Music Venues Trust last week to discuss issues facing the live music sector, and further ways to support the growth of the music sector and wider creative industries.
