A full list of organisations that are involved can be found at Annex A.</p><p>The group’s first meeting was on the 18th January and will meet four more times before July, when the group will announce their initial recommendations to government and industry. The three working groups, that have been set up to look at specific issues around Product, Distribution and Customer Engagement, will meet more frequently. Explore barriers to the development of products with social impact components</p><p>2. Explore barriers to the demand for and distribution of such products</p><p>3. Consider who is best placed to identify and implement solutions</p><p>4. Consider how existing best practice, regulatory incentives and further measures can reduce or remove barriers</p><p>5. Develop ideas for how best to explain social impact savings and investment choices to individuals and to provide feedback on impact to any fiduciaries and advisors involved</p><p>6. Discuss timescales for solutions, including possible next steps for any longer-term work to be taken forward beyond the advisory group.</p><p>Elizabeth Corley, Vice Chair of Allianz Global Investors (and previously CEO) has been asked to Chair the group. The group has been asked to make an initial report to the Minister for Civil Society and the Economic Secretary to the Treasury in Summer 2017.</p><p>Conclusions and recommendations are those of the group, but may not represent any individual member’s view. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 31/07/2024 answer text <p>The Government understands the important role our public service broadcasters (PSBs) play not only within the TV sector, but also in terms of their wider economic and democratic contribution in the United Kingdom.</p><p>We are committed to working constructively with our PSBs so that they can continue to inform, educate and entertain across the UK. More broadly, this Government will work towards opening up more opportunities for people in all parts of the UK to work in broadcast programming and we recognise the important role PSBs have in supporting this aim.</p><p>The Media Act – which received Royal Assent on 24 May 2024 – will give our PSBs greater flexibility in how they contribute to the remit, making it easier for them to make their content available on a wider range of free-to-air platforms, as well as ensuring PSB content remains easy to find as viewers increasingly shift online.</p><p>Ofcom, as the independent broadcasting regulator, is responsible for monitoring the performance of PSBs against their remit and obligations. It also has a statutory duty to undertake a review of the PSB system at least every five years under the Communications Act 2003 with a view to maintaining and strengthening the quality of public service television in the United Kingdom. High-quality, inclusive facilities help clubs to get more people active and by backing these clubs, the Government will support more people to get onto the pitch wherever they live.</p><p>To mark the achievements of our senior men’s and women’s football teams, and inspire the next generation as we look ahead to hosting UEFA EURO 2028 across the UK and Ireland, we have set out plans to strengthen our support for grassroots clubs. This includes continuing the Multi-Sport Grassroots Facilities Programme this year, and a commitment to work with the sector to develop a funding package that will support these plans.</p><p>We provide the majority of support for grassroots sport through our arm’s-length body, Sport England – which annually invests over £250 million of National Lottery and Government money. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 02/08/2024 answer text <p>The Government is dedicated to fostering the growth and global leadership of the arts and creative sectors, which significantly bolster the UK’s economic prosperity, contributing 5.7% of the UK’s total Gross Value Add in 2022 (£124.6 billion). They enrich people’s lives, and play a vital role in presenting the UK as an attractive location to visit and invest.</p><p>We are determined to improve the UK’s trade and investment relationship with the EU by dismantling unnecessary barriers to trade. For the arts and creative sectors, this includes helping UK performing artists tour within the EU, enabling easier trade in the art, publishing and advertising sectors and facilitating greater cultural exchanges with the EU, as set out in the Government’s manifesto and <em>Creating Growth: Labour’s Plan for the Arts, Culture and Creative Industries.</em></p><p>We have no immediate plans to conduct a formal review of the effect of leaving the EU on the arts and creative industries. Our focus is on working to reset the relationship with our European friends, neighbours and allies. The Prime Minister has had early positive early calls and meetings, including with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, and key leaders in EU Member States. The Minister for the Constitution and European Union Relations and the Foreign Secretary have also held early senior ministerial engagements with European counterparts, including at NATO and the European Political Community.
