To achieve this, in 2014 we introduced the Family Test, which aims to ensure that impacts on family relationships and functioning are recognised early on during the process of policy development and help inform the policy decisions made by Minsters. answer text <p>Pay for Civil Servants outside of the Senior Civil Service is a matter delegated to departments. Pay awards are informed by a range of factors including recruitment, retention, affordability and the scope for productivity gains.</p><p> </p><p>Departments set pay within the Civil Service pay remit guidance which is published on gov.uk annually. The remit guidance for 2019/20 will be agreed in 2019 and it will then be for departments to determine their pay levels within that framework.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Minister for the Cabinet Office met with the General Secretaries of the FDA, Prospect and PCS trade unions on 27<sup>th</sup> June to discuss the civil service delegated pay guidance 2018, which was published on 25<sup>th</sup> June. As agreed in this meeting, officials wrote to trade unions inviting further discussions on the process of publishing the 2019 Pay Remit Guidance on 17th July. We are awaiting a response to this letter.</p> more like this
