answer text <p>The Electoral Commission is independent of the Government and accountable to Parliament through the Speaker’s Committee on the Electoral Commission. It does not report directly to Ministers. I have not had any discussions with the Electoral Commission on the content of their ongoing investigations.</p> more like this
