star this property answer text <p>In January 2020, the then Minister for the Cabinet Office and the Minister for Patient Safety met campaigners representing the people infected and affected, and campaigners raised a number of issues about the support that would assist them outside of the Inquiry process. Ministers have committed to looking at these issues carefully, including to consider a request to look at a framework for compensation before the Inquiry reports, and to report back on where progress can be made. The Paymaster General is the lead Minister for the Inquiry and is taking forward these actions.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>I can confirm infected individuals and bereaved partners who are registered with any of the four UK infected blood support schemes will receive interim compensation payments of £100,000 by the end of October. Everyone registered to vote will have the opportunity to do so. Any voter who does not have an approved form of ID will be able to apply, free of charge, for an electoral ID from their local authority.</p><p>Both the pilots and the Northern Irish experience demonstrate that showing ID does not reduce participation.</p><p> </p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>It is a long-established precedent that information about the discussions that have taken place in Cabinet and its Committees, and how often they have met, is not normally shared publicly.</p><p>Nonetheless, the Government has outlined a range of measures to support young people.</p><p>In July, the Chancellor announced a £500m package of support to ensure young people access the training and develop the skills they will need to go on to high-quality, secure and fulfilling employment. T Levels will play a key part in rebuilding the economy after the coronavirus outbreak, boosting access to high-quality technical education for young people</p><p>The first three courses launched in 44 colleges and other providers this September.</p><p>Further T Levels will be introduced in a phased rollout over the next four years.</p><p>Further Government support including the Job Retention Scheme and the Kickstart Scheme will support young people.</p><p> </p> more like this
